A mock drill on fire safety was organized at Darshan Academy, 5th Mile, Kaithal, on November 3, 2025, to create awareness among students and staff about emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures. The primary objective of the drill was to train everyone to respond promptly and safely in the event of a fire or any other emergency.
The drill began with a warning bell, signaling an emergency. All the students immediately stopped their activities and exited their classrooms in a calm and disciplined manner, under the guidance of their teachers. They followed the evacuation routes and assembled in the designated area. Teachers ensured that every student was present and safe. During the demonstration, students were also shown how to use fire extinguishers and were informed about the importance of staying calm during an emergency. The school safety committee monitored the process and emphasized the importance of swift and coordinated action in such situations.
The mock drill was conducted smoothly and successfully. It helped everyone understand the importance of safety measures and being alert during emergencies. The Principal appreciated the students for their discipline and awareness. The event concluded with a brief talk on fire safety and precautions to take at home and school.
