Darshan Academy Jagdishpura, Kaithal, celebrated Earth Day on April 22, 2022, to spread awareness about conserving earth and Mother Nature. The celebration started with a special assembly in which students were told about the importance of planting trees, keeping wet waste and dry waste separate and implementing the rule of 3 R’s: reuse, reduce, recycle. The students were asked to thank Mother Earth for all her bountiful gifts in the form of flora, fauna and beautiful landscapes. Various creative activities were organized like poster making, slogan writing and thumb printing.
